Our wedding will be celebrated in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, and we know that travelling for a destination wedding is a big commitment. We truly appreciate you making the journey to celebrate with us.
To help with planning your trip, we wanted to share a helpful travel option. Avianca is the primary international airline flying to Colombia and offers a direct flight from London to Bogotá, which comes with Ale & Elliot’s seal of approval!
From Bogotá, Cartagena is a short and very straightforward domestic connection, and Avianca also operates the internal flights within Colombia, making the journey easy to arrange in one booking.

Accommodation
Our wedding will be celebrated at the Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Cartagena, a truly special place in the heart of the walled city. We understand that travelling for a destination wedding is a big commitment, so we have worked closely with the hotel to secure a special rate for our guests. The table below outlines the different room options and prices available.
We also know that some of you may prefer alternative options. Just across the road (a 1-minute walk), the hotel offers a smaller boutique property called Bóvedas de Santa Clara, also located within the walled city. Guests staying here can still enjoy full access to the amenities at the Santa Clara, while benefiting from a more affordable rate.
